1 CHANGE & COMMS TEAM

What if, today, you no longer had to be an Internal Communicator or a Change Manager — but both at once?
Wouldn't that make things simpler on both sides?
And even more valuable within your organization, and more effective in supporting change.
Ps: You're a Project Manager and you also have to handle change management — and therefore communication — on top of everything else?
Let's take
the same road!
I help you
transform & tune your internal communication or change management department into ICCM teams (Internal Communication & Change Management)
or accelerate your skills in internal communication or change management.

Duplicated efforts, tensions, misunderstandings
Inconsistent messages
Employees caught in the middle
Failure, turnover,...
The gap between the roles is costing you more than you think.
01
TRANSFORM your team
One team. One language.
One road.
Most large organizations run Change Management and Internal Communications as parallel tracks — separate reporting lines, separate toolkits, separate KPIs. The result? Duplicated efforts, inconsistent messaging, and employees caught between different voices that should be one.
Let's TRANSFORM your team to redesign the collaboration model between your Change and Internal Comms functions. Let's build an integrated unit that operates with shared purpose, clear accountability, and genuine complementarity.

3 possible stops
to take a new road
TUNE your skills
Understand & apply
other's road
Change or project managers who can't communicate lose people in the process.
Internal communicators who don't understand change management mechanics produce beautiful content that lands on deaf ears. Both are costly — in engagement, in trust, in transformation outcomes.
Let's TUNE, build real, applicable capability on both sides of the fence.
02
accelerate each capability
03
Either you need to fully tune your skills or team so it becomes proficient in change management or internal communication, or you need to ACCELERATE on specific capabilities.

Behind the wheel:
laurence van der plassche (Jados)
I've spent years inside the tension that BYROAD is built to resolve.
Change managers, internal communicators (and sometimes project managers) working in parallel — each convinced the other doesn't fully get it. I've been on both sides. I've felt the friction. And I've seen what becomes possible when the two (three) finally align. BYROAD is my answer to that gap.
I has held senior roles on both sides of that boundary — Head of Internal and/or External Communications at Wintherthur (AXA), Elia, Thales Alenia Space and STIB, Senior Change Management Consultant at delaware, Team Lead HR Communications at ING, and currently Head of Change Management & Internal Communication at Federale Assurance.
As a freelance consultant, trainer and coach since 2009 (previously operating under the name Communiquons!) — with over 1,300 people supported across public and private sectors — I bring a rare combination of strategic vision and hands-on delivery.
Prosci certified, author of two published communication books, and fluent in three languages, I operate with the credibility that large organizations need and the humanity that people navigating change deserve.
You are a change manager, an internal communication expert or a project manager?
You're tired of the silos and looking for impact?
